Trial Expiration & Renewal
How the VULK 7-day paid trial converts, what happens at day 7, and how to manage or cancel.
Trial Expiration & Renewal
VULK uses a paid 7-day trial, not a free trial. After day 7 the plan you signed up for renews automatically at its standard monthly price unless you cancel before renewal.
Trial details
| Trial | Price (one-time, day 0) | Duration | Credits | What unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Builder Trial | €1.99 / $1.99 | 7 days | 1,000 credits | Full Builder plan |
| Pro Trial | €3.99 / $3.99 | 7 days | 2,500 credits | Full Pro plan |
- Credit card required at trial start. Stripe forces 3D Secure where applicable.
- All paid-plan features are unlocked from minute one (AI models, exports, deploys, mobile builds, video gen, 3D gen, voice/video-to-app, etc.).
- Higher-tier plans (Team, Max, Business) bill at the standard monthly price with no intro offer.
What happens on day 7
By default the plan renews at the standard monthly price on the same payment method:
| Trial | Auto-renews to | Standard price |
|---|---|---|
| Builder Trial | Builder | €19.99 / $19.99 / month |
| Pro Trial | Pro | €39.99 / $39.99 / month |
You'll receive a renewal invoice in your Stripe customer email and the credits matching the plan tier are added at the start of each billing cycle.
How to cancel before renewal
You can cancel any time before day 7 to avoid the renewal charge:
- Go to vulk.dev/settings/billing.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- The plan stays active until the end of the trial period — no further charges.
If you cancel:
- Your remaining trial credits stay yours until day 7.
- Generated code, projects, and deployments stay accessible.
- You can resubscribe at any time at vulk.dev/pricing.
What happens if a renewal payment fails
If the day-7 charge is declined, VULK uses Smart Retries (8 attempts over 28 days) — Stripe automatically retries on next-payday windows. During retries:
- Subscription status:
past_due. You can still log in and view existing projects. - Generation/deploy: paused until the renewal succeeds.
- Action options: update your card at vulk.dev/settings/billing or the Stripe-hosted invoice URL we send.
If all retries fail (28 days), the subscription cancels automatically and the account moves to read-only.
After cancellation
If you let the subscription cancel (manual or after failed retries):
You keep:
- All generated code (read-only access).
- Project source files, version history, and deploy URLs.
- Account, profile, custom domains.
You temporarily lose:
- New generations.
- Edits to existing projects.
- Mobile builds (
.apk/.ipa). - App Store / Play Store submission.
To reactivate, pick a plan at vulk.dev/pricing. Generation access is restored instantly after the new subscription confirms.
FAQ
Will my projects be deleted? No. Projects, source files, and deploy URLs are preserved when the trial ends or the subscription cancels.
Can I extend the trial? No. The 7-day window is fixed for all users.
Do unused trial credits carry over to the standard plan? Yes. Credits remaining at day 7 carry forward into the renewed plan and combine with the new monthly allocation.
What if I burn through all 1,000 / 2,500 credits before day 7? You can buy a Credit Pack (1k–10k, one-time) at vulk.dev/settings/billing — accepts MB Way, Bizum, Pix, Alipay, WeChat, OXXO, Klarna, PayPal, card, and 10+ other one-time methods.
Can I switch from Builder Trial to Pro Trial mid-week? You can upgrade — the new plan replaces the trial and bills the difference. You can't downgrade mid-trial.
Is the €1.99 / €3.99 a coupon I have to enter? No — it's the trial price applied automatically at checkout based on the plan you pick. You don't need a coupon code.
